Magic Kingdom’s daytime parade, Festival of Fantasy is back! It did not resume with the reopening of Disney Parks in July 2020. While cavalcades replaced the parade, both will now entertain Guests visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.

While the parade has returned, it did return with several changes. You can read about those few changes HERE. Though there are a few changes to the parade, we are all delighted to see that Maleficent the Dragon is back!

Be sure to check Character Locator for showtimes for Festival of Fantasy and other Disney World entertainment.

A Short Break

The busy holiday crowds are beginning to arrive at Disney World as Christmas is less than a week away! The last Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take place on Thursday, December 22.

With the party ending in a few short days, Disney is still bringing the Christmas magic to Guests visiting over the next few weeks. Christmas entertainment will move to the daytime from December 23 to December 30.

This means Festival of Fantasy will not be presented at the Magic Kingdom during this time. Right now, the calendar goes through the end of February, and Disney has not updated showtimes for this parade after the holidays. We will be sure to update once showtimes are loaded.

As a reminder, New Year’s Eve fireworks will be presented on December 30 and 31. You can get showtimes HERE.

Magic Kingdom’s Festival of Fantasy parade will take a short break for the next few weeks as Christmas entertainment will be presented during the day.
