If you’re an Enchanted fan, then the wait is almost over this whimsical sequel. Today, Disney announced an even earlier release date!
Enchanted is one of my (Susan) favorite Disney live action movies! From the quirky characters to the creative plot, it’s got something for everyone. Enchanted was released in 2007, and we still watch it every chance we get! In the movie, Giselle (Amy Adams) is slated to become princess until she’s banished from the animated land of Andalasia.
She finds herself in real-life Manhattan, and as you can imagine, has no idea what’s going on. A divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) finds himself drawn to her but also thinks she’s a little crazy.
In March 2020, we announced an Enchanted sequel, Disenchanted. HERE. Disenchanted will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures along with Barry Sonnenfield and Josephson Entertainment. Catch a sneak peak of filming HERE.
Ten years after her happily ever after, Giselle questions her happiness. Then, she inadvertently turns the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down.
From the movie posters, it appears that Giselle may have lost her way. I can’t wait to see this whimsical sequel.
Original Release Date
Earlier this month, we shared the full-length trailer HERE. Disenchanted will stream on Disney+ so you can watch it from the comfort of your own couch. At that time, Disney announced it would debut on Thanksgiving: November 24, 2022!
New Release Date
I’m thrilled to share that Disney moved the release date up a week! If you’re like me, you’ll be counting down the days soon! Disney released a new release date on Disney+ of November 18, 2022!
Now, Disenchanted premieres on Disney+ beginning on November 18!
