Do you love Disney’s Animal Kingdom at night? You do not want to miss this special nighttime event.

Moonlight Magic Event

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) offers many benefits on top of just owning rent to use for room accommodations. Guests can enjoy complimentary after-hours events. These events are only for Eligible Members and special Guests. 

In addition to entrance to this exclusive after-hours event, they can expect short-than-usual wait times, character meets, reimagined entertainment, and special treats.

Back in February, we first announced that Moonlight Magic will return this year. For 2022, Moonlight Magic will take place in three different parks this year! DVC Members can enjoy EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios! Check out the return of this event HERE.

Now, this event will extend to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom

There is nothing quite like the beauty of Pandora at night. Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers the earliest park closings which makes it difficult to truly enjoy Pandora at night. Soon DVC Members can enjoy Disney’s Animal Kingdom at night.

The Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic event will take place on Tuesday, July 26th. This begins at 9:00 pm and guests may stay until midnight! That would truly be a dream come true! Guests may check in at 6:00 pm and enter the park at 7:00 pm while the park closes at 8:00 pm.

• Na’vi River Journey
• TriceraTop Spin
• It’s Tough to be a Bug!
• Fossil Fun Games (two tickets per event attendee, distributed at park check-in, valid for use starting at 9 p.m.)

• DJ Dance Party in DinoLand U.S.A., includes Daisy, Chip ‘n’ Dale 
• Viva Gaia Street Band! And other musicians, Intermittently on the Discovery Island stage 
• Tree of Life Awakenings/ Beacons of Magic, intermittently

Characters Galore

This event will offer many rare characters for guests to meet with.

Food & Beverages

• Each event attendee will receive 3 certificates: one for a snack or popcorn bucket and the other two for snacks only. 
• Certificates will be accepted starting at 7 p.m. 
• Redemption locations and times are listed on each certificate.
• Some snack exceptions apply and are noted on the certificate.
• Complimentary ice cream is available from 9 p.m. to midnight.  

All other dining locations will remain open for this event except the following: Creature Comforts, Pizzafari, and Mahindi. The only retail location to remain open for the event will be Chester’s & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures.
