Parks returning to “Normal”
When the Disney Parks reopened, many things were a bit different. One of the biggest changes was with character interactions. For quite some time, Guests could see characters at “pop-up” locations throughout the Disney Parks or ride through the park on the trolley and take a distanced photo with them. No lines were formed for these interactions.
The best news is that the ropes have been lowered and Guests can enjoy non-distanced character interactions and even hug their favorite Disney characters. Check out the best spot to visit Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World HERE.
In fact, now that “normal” character interactions have returned, this allows guests to once again enjoy this fun Magic Kingdom attraction.
Grand Return
Today, guests visiting the Magic Kingdom were delighted that a fun transportation option has returned to the Magic Kingdom. Back in November 2021, we shared that the Omnibus, a charming double-decker bus, was transporting guests down Main Street, USA. Now, months later guests are enjoying yet another Main Street vehicle.
The Main Street Trolley is a horse-drawn trolley car that previously transported characters and the Dapper Dans along Main Street. This was due to social distancing of both the characters and the Dapper Dans. Now that the Dapper Dans entertain guests on Main Street once again, the trolley is available to transport guests.
The Main Street vehicles make a short journey up and down Main Street. They stop at both the train station and in front of the castle to pick up and unload passengers. This is such a fun experience for guests both riding in the vehicles and also guests along Main Street, USA.
The Main Street Trolley is now transporting guests along Main Street, USA at the Magic Kingdom.
We love that many of our favorite experiences are finally returning to the Disney Parks.
