This year, the Flower and Garden Festival takes place from March 2 through July 4. The popular Garden Rocks Concert Series returns to the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival this year.

Gardeners will marvel at thousands of blooms forming colorful, living panoramas all around EPCOT. There is so much to enjoy from all of the amazing topiaries, a fun scavenger hunt, a beautiful new light display, and a fun attraction overlay.

Fresh flavors are on the menu at the festival’s 18 Outdoor Kitchens as well as other food and beverage locations around EPCOT. They will offer a fresh selection of springtime fruits, vegetables, desserts, and more. You can check out the means for each kitchen HERE.

Internationally recognized artists now bring the groove to the America Gardens Theater stage Friday-Monday. In addition, local Orlando bands perform Tuesday-Thursday.

You can see a full list of entertainment for the Garden Rocks Series HERE. Next week, an unexpected change is now made to the entertainment lineup. Originally on May 20th and May 21st, guests could enjoy the 1980’s band, Flock of Seagulls. They have been removed from the entertainment lineup without explanation.

Many guests plan their touring plans around the live entertainment schedule, but this unexpeceted change may surprise some guests. Replacing Flock of Seagulls on May 20-21 will be Tony Orlando, a major pop star from the 1970s. Those guests who were booked a Garden Rocks Dining Package for May 20-21 will receive a notification announcing this change.

This will no doubt be disappointing, particularly with the Flock of Seagulls song “I Ran (So Far Away)” now playing on the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction opening at the end of this month.

What do you think of this change? Would this be disappointing for you? Which live band would you be most excited to enjoy at the Garden Rocks Series? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
