Park Hours
Almost every week, the Kenny the Pirate writing team shares the latest theme park hours as Disney releases them. These scheduled hours are a great way to begin preparing for your trip.
This week we are delighted to see that guests can enjoy Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park longer in May and June. Experiencing the Disney Parks at night is truly my favorite experience. There is something truly magical when enjoying Disney attractions at night or enjoying a late-night dining reservation.

Early Entry
Early Theme Park Entry is a new benefit for all guests staying at Disney resort hotels and select other hotels around Walt Disney World. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.

New Animal Kingdom Hours
Typically, Disney’s Animal Kingdom receives a few extended hours, but not like the other Disney World theme parks. Disney released an entire month of updates. Check out the changes below:
- May 8-14: Park hours were previously 9:00am to 7:00pm. Now, they’ve been extended to 7:30am until 8:30pm.
- May 15: Park hours were previously 9:00am to 7:00pm. Now, they’ve been extended to 8:00am until 8:00pm.
- June 9: Park hours were previously 9:00am to 6:00pm. However, updated hours are 8:00am until 6:00pm.
Don’t forget early entry for Disney Resort guests, too!
