Disney Theme Parks
Disney World and Disneyland theme parks have changed the mask requirements since Disney reopened in July 2020. Due to Covid-19, experiences including dining and character meets have been limited. Disney also set park reservations in place to limit capacity. However, these restrictions have eased up recently, including mask requirements at Disney World.
Recently, Disney announced face coverings were longer be required for fully vaccinated Guests in both indoor and outdoor locations at Disney World. Just this week, Disney announced they’re no longer required on buses and the monorail transportation.
Hong Kong Disneyland has reopened after an extended closure! To kick start the festivities, Disney friends held a special welcome moment for guests as they strolled down Main Street, U.S.A.

There were many friendly faces to be seen! Throughout the resort’s celebration, guests were welcomed by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale. Also, there were several characters welcoming guests and dancing. These include Snow White and Dopey, and Alice and the White Rabbit.
However, there were many others there too! Disney Princesses including Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle and Tiana, Duffy the Disney Bear, ShellieMay, StellaLou and ‘Olu Mel, as well as Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore were happily greeting guests
Reason to Celebrate
Today, April 21, 2022, after months of waiting, Hong Kong Disneyland is finally open once again! And the theme park’s theme is “The Magic is Now.”
Today, April 21, 2022, after months of waiting, Hong Kong Disneyland is finally open again!
As guests entered the park and reunited with friends, family and loved ones, they were thrilled to discover so many surprises. From desserts such as White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake to two brand new photo spots, the day was filled with fun and laughter.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s commitment and support of its guests and community extends beyond the park. During the closure, the resort partnered with local non-profit organizations to support more than 2,000 underserved families.
Overall, Disney-themed merchandise items and other essential materials, including toys, masks and food, were donated to more than 15,000 individuals. With the announcement of their reopening, Hong Kong Disneyland doubled the magic of previous ticket donations by giving out a total of 10,000 park admission tickets to seven local nonprofits!
By law, guests are required to use the “Leave Safe Home” app. Then, you must meet the “Vaccine Pass” requirements before entering the park or Disney property.
