Today marked the return of the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Guests were overjoyed with the return, but the calling of the Grand Marshalls for the return of this parade was nothing short of Disney magic.
Return of the Festival of Fantasy Parade
Today, March 9, 2022, marks the first time the Festival of Fantasy parade returned in almost two years. With the return of this parade came a few changes. Check out the many changes of this new parade HERE.

Grand Marshalls for the Parade
Today as the Disney Cast Members prepared for the return of the Festival of Fantasy parade, six Cast Members were honored in such a special way. These six Cast Members were asked to serve as the Grand Marshalls for the return of the parade.
On the official Facebook Page for Walt Disney World Cast and Community they share, “Six Cast Members received the surprise of a lifetime when they were asked to lead the first, returning Festival of Fantasy parade as esteemed Grand Marshalls. No one deserves this honor more than Cast- Thank you for the magic you make every single day!”
We could think of no more deserving Grand Marshalls than the ones who create the magic every day in the Disney Parks. The magic is truly calling with the golden 50th anniversary at Walt Disney World and the return of our favorite shows and entertainment.

These Cast Members were honored to ride in the Grand Marshall car at the start of the parade. They also had an excellent view of the parade that made its way down Main Street, USA. As if this was not enough each Cast Member received a special certificate and their own Mickey Mouse ears to commemorate this unforgettable memory.
