Check out the high wait times at Walt Disney World right now

President’s Day weekend has begun at Walt Disney World. The long holiday weekend typically brings more crowds and more crowds bring high wait times. Check out how high the wait times are right now.

President’s Day weekend is typically a pretty busy weekend for Walt Disney World. Many guests are off of school and work and take advantage of the long weekend to visit.

This is evident in the lack of park reservations that are available for this weekend. For today, park reservations are unavailable for Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Last night, EPCOT remained the only park available for today, but today it shows as all parks unavailable.

For the weekend, all parks are unavailable for making new park reservations. If you are visiting, be sure to check out this weekend’s weather forecast!

If you are visiting the parks this weekend, do not forget Kenny has color-coded best/worst days and parks for every day of the year! Not only that, but if you are forced to visit Disney during a busy time, he has great touring strategies to help you beat the crowds.

Don’t forget to check Kenny’s crowd calendars for a great touring plan!

Let’s take a look at the wait times for today, February 18th at 12:30 pm.

Magic Kingdom

Right now we are looking at a 140 minute wait for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! What is going on at Splash Mountain? Hopefully it will be back up soon. You can see that Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise and Peter Pan are all also over an hour long.

As a reminder, Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are Individual Lightning Lane Selections, so if you do not want to wait in standby you will have to pay extra. The rest are included in Genie+.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Dinosaur, Na’vi River Journey, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Avatar Flight of Passage are also over an hour long.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you are heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, expect super long waits today as well. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Slinky Dog are both over two hours long. Would you wait 175 minutes for Slinky Dog Dash?

Lightning Lane selections for Slinky Dog are typically gone within seconds each morning at 7 a.m. and are no longer available at this time today.

EPCOT

EPCOT is not looking any better either. Would you wait 50 minutes for Mission Space? That’s a hard pass for me (Maggie). Frozen Ever After and Test Track are also well over an hour long right now, too. While Remy was showing as being closed, it has since reopened but has a 70 minute wait.
