Festival of the Arts
The International Festival of the Arts at EPCOT began on January 14, 2022 and runs through February 21, 2022. This festival has just a little bit of everything, including, art, food menus and entertainment.
There is so much to enjoy at this years festival. Be sure to check out the Broadway Concert Series, this beautiful light display, and the photo opportunity that you definitely want to add to your touring plan.
Last year, the Festival of the Arts looked quite a bit different. The large photo displays were present as well as the chalk art and large mural, but live entertainment was missing. To see artists at work in a variety of specialties is really the beauty of the Festival of the Arts.
This year, live performers have returned. There are a variety of performers to enjoy as you explore Epcot. Check out a few of the performers that we saw on a recent trip to EPCOT.
Dominic Gaudious
Musician Dominic Gaudious is quite entertaining. He captivates the audience as he not only skillfully played the guitar, but he also played the double flute and sang as well. This talented musician was quite entertaining.

Art Defying Gravity
While visiting the Festival of the Arts, we greatly enjoyed the Art Defying Gravity performers. This entertainment set was comprised of two couples that paired art with strength as they performed feats that truly took our breath away. When we first arrived, we saw the man and woman perform together. They exhibited beauty and grace as they moved as one to the music.
The second pair to take the stage were two men. It seemed that each feat was even more awe inspiring than the one before. As they stood upon the moving platform they truly defied gravity.
At the end of this performance, everyone returned to the stage one final time. The Art Defying Gravity was my (Donna) favorite entertainment experience at the Festival of the Arts.
Musician Nicholas Marks
Nicholas Marks was very talented. A music track accompanied him as he skillfully played the guitar. A nice size audience gathered to enjoy his musical stylings. We enjoyed that he was quite lively as he played. He danced as he played and had a great stage presence.
Each set was fairly short to allow for Guests to enjoy the many other offerings of the festival as well. This burst of live entertainers was truly missed at last year’s festival. We enjoyed the diversity of each performer that we were able to watch.
