Recently it seems that multiple rides and attractions have been temporarily unavailable throughout the day. This unexpected closure can be a bit disappointing. Check out the attraction that will be closing early again today.
Refurbishments
Since Walt Disney World does not close for select seasons, refurbishments and maintenance take place during operating hours. Some attractions close for lengthy refurbishments. Currently in Magic Kingdom Splash Mountain is closed for a refurbishment.
In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids just reopened from a lengthy refurbishment. This attraction reopened just before Expedition Everest closed for a refurbishment through April.
Some attractions are able to remain open while refurbishments are taking place such as with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
It appears that maintenance may be taking place in EPCOT on this very popular ride.
Early Closing Scheduled
If you are planning to visit EPCOT this week, you will want to take note that Test Track has been closing early for several days. Yesterday, we shared that Test Track would be closing early at 6:30pm while the remainder of the park would stay open until 9:00pm. This was the second day that this ride experienced an early closure.
Today, Guests visiting EPCOT may need to make a few modifications to their touring plan if they want to enjoy Test Track. For the third straight day, Test Track will be closing at 6:30pm while the park remains open until 9:00pm.
At this time, Walt Disney World has not announced scheduled maintenance or downtime for this attraction. We are unsure how many more days this attraction may close early for Guests.

My (Donna) kids absolutely love this attraction at night. We are hoping that Test Track may be able to remain open until park closing very soon. It is helpful to know when this attraction will be closing in order to still enjoy it during the daytime.
