Disney Wish
The Disney Wish is Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship and it is expected to set sail in June 2022! Disney Cruise Line has been teasing us with many updates about the new ship and guests have a lot to look forward to.
From cinematic dining adventures, a tower suite, entertainment, and just stunning staterooms, it has it all. Guests even have a chance to ride on Disney Cruise Line’s first attraction at sea.
Construction Updates
A few months ago, we shared construction updates where Disney Imagineers began to install the wheelhouse and bow of the ship. To see those updates, read about them HERE.
Today, Walt Disney Imagineering shared on their Instagram page more updates relating to the construction of the stern filigree.
In the Instagram post, they share the following:
Today we’re sharing a look at the individual steel cutouts that came together to shape the beautiful stern filigree on @DisneyCruiseLine’s newest ship, the #DisneyWish. The stern filigree proudly carries the name of the ship: Disney Wish. This is a preview of what is to come for the bow filigree, so stay tuned for future updates.

The next update to the ship will be the completion of the bow filigree. Each step in the construction process is one step closer to completion of the Disney Wish!
