Live entertainment is back!
The magic is returning to Disney World, and at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney is bringing live entertainment back to Cinderella Castle.
While an exact date has not yet been given, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, a new stage show, will debut early in 2022! Oh boy!
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will celebrate friends, friendship, and all of the wonderful things that brings to our lives.
The new show will feature a new opening number and a new finale, with a new original song. The newest song, “Where the Magic Feels Like Home,” was written just for Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire!
We’ll get to see new earidescent looks for the dancers of the show! Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy will all be there and dressed in their earidescent best.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will incorporate all of our favorite scenes from the previous version of this show, including sequences inspired by Frozen, Tangled, and The Princess and the Frog.
A new version of an old favorite
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will be based on “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire,” which was Magic Kingdom’s previous Castle stage show.
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire featured familiar songs from some fan favorite recent Disney movies. There were characters from the Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and Frozen.
The show tells the story of Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy celebrating and throwing a great Renaissance Faire style party, and they invited various heroes to join them.
It will be a new twist on an old favorite!
