CDC Order for International Travel

Last week we shared that the CDC issued an Order that now “requires all air passengers arriving to the US from a foreign country to get tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to provide proof of the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight.”

The Order applies to ALL air passengers 2 years of age or older traveling to the United States. This even includes US citizens and legal permanent residents. This new order for International Travel also includes recommended periods of self-quarantine or self-isolation after entry into the United States even with a negative test result.

You can find out when this Order will go into effect and learn more about how this may affect international travel HERE.

New Executive Order

A new Executive Order was announced today by the White House. This new order promotes COVID-19 safety in both domestic and international travel.

Effective immediately, masks are required in airports, commercial aircraft, trains, public maritime vessels (including ferries), intercity bus services, and ALL forms of public transportation.

Effective immediately masks are required in airports, commercial aircraft, trains, public maritime vessels, intercity buses services, and ALL forms of public transportation.

This Executive Order states that a plan for land travel from both Canada and Mexico should be proposed and evaluated in the next 14 days. This also applies to sea travel as well. These plans should be available to review in the next couple of weeks to help with travel plans.

While Disney Parks overseas have experienced temporary closures due to rising cases, Disney Fans from the West Coast and also from overseas have looked to Florida for their next magical Disney vacation.
