Disney Collectible Keys
Disney Stores celebrate the opening of their stores each day by asking the first family of the day to participate in the “Opening Ceremony.”
At our local Disney Store, my children were invited to dress up like Sorcerer Mickey and say the magic words to open the store. My kids were so delighted with this celebration and it was great to experience a little Disney magic even between visits “Home.”
At the end of the ceremony one of my children were gifted a Disney key to commemorate their opening the store that day.
Throughout the years, people have begun to collect commemorative keys that are available for special Disney anniversaries and special events.
At times Disney Collectible keys may be given to the first 100 guests to visit the Disney Store on a select day with the purchase of $25 or more.
At other times these keys have been available when purchasing select merchandise on shopDisney as when this Olaf key was made available with the purchase of both Anna and Elsa Frozen 2 dolls back in March 2020.
