Running from August through November is the immensely popular Food and Wine Festival. The festival boasts food and drink samplings from a variety of food kiosks around Epcot, as well as the Eat to the Beat concert series and culinary demonstrations.

And in late November and most of December, the Festival of the Holidays features the Candlelight Processional with a retelling of the Christmas story as told by a celebrity narrator.

You can also participate in a scavenger hunt featuring Chip & Dale and observe holiday traditions from around the world.

Tara:

Although I enjoy something about each of the festivals at Epcot, my favorite is definitely Food and Wine festival. Being a foodie I love the variety of food choices offered during the festival.

My husband and I are such big fans that we love to spend more than one park day walking around and sampling the options at the food kiosks.

Susan:

We love Food and Wine Festival – getting to sample all the different booths. Our favorite is the Canada steak. Also, love the Eat to the Beat concerts along with (hopefully) cooler weather.

Monica:

International Festival of the Holidays because I love Christmas and experiencing other cultures. Plus Candlelight Processional was a fantastic show. Seeing the World Showcase decorated and all the ways each country celebrated the season is so neat.

Rebecca:

We love the Festival of the Arts! Free Broadway concert every night, drawing classes from real Disney animators, and just an overall chill vibe! It doesn’t draw the crowds of Food and Wine, and that’s fine by me.

Maggie:

I love the International Flower and Garden Festival. I love seeing all of the different topiaries and flowers! I think it’s one of the most beautiful ways to see the park.

Jessica:

Tough choice! I love Food and Wine to sample snacks from countries we don’t normally eat at on our Epcot trips, but the International Flower and Garden Festival is absolutely beautiful and is my favorite!

Kate:

Festival of the Arts is my favorite. I have been each year. It is a great time to sample food offerings because the weather is mild. I love Food and Wine, but it can be hard to enjoy hot dishes on a hot day.

One of my favorite Festival of the Arts memories happened when we were strolling around World Showcase at the end of the evening, and a Disney artist was at a booth answering questions and drawing sketches of characters.

She selected my little boy to suggest a character for her to draw and gifted it to him. He now has his hand-drawn Goofy in a frame in his room. It was a nice sprinkling of Pixie Dust.

Heather:

I love Food and Wine! We love to sample all the different foods from the booths. My husband loves the steak in Canada. Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend also helps me love it even more! It’s so hard to pick a favorite though.

Donna:

I absolutely loved the Festival of the Holidays. I loved all of the rich holiday traditions in each of the different lands. I gained a sense of culture and respect for others through this great festival.

Jamie:

I love the Flower and Garden Festival. It’s one of the reasons we travel in spring! I can easily spend several days looking at the amazing topiaries in each country representing all of my favorite characters.

I love how this time of year, Epcot is rich in bold, vivid colors. The food is delicious as well and every year I look forward to trying something new!

Marisol:

My favorite festival is Flower and Garden. I can never have enough Frushi at the Japanese Pavilion!

Amanda:

I really like the Festival of the Arts. The weather during this time is fantastic and really helps make for a nice relaxing environment as you stroll about seeing all the amazing artwork!

Since they added the food kiosks to the flower and garden festival it is my absolute FAVORITE!! Agree with the comment made above that sometimes it to hot to enjoy the heavy food in F&W. I feel like the flower and garden festival food is much lighter and YUMMY too!!! More garden foods, fruit and fresh herbs to make things delish!! They still have some great heavier, meaty items that are amazing too! Ok, ready to go back now...
