Disney Deluxe Hotel Refurbishment Has a BIG Impact on Guests
If you are heading to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village you will want to check these closures that WILL impact your stay. Find out when you can expect this refurbishment to take place.
Disney World Refurbishments
From time to time, Disney has scheduled refurbishments for anything from rides and restaurants to hotels. Even though we all may not like seeing or hearing construction, it is a necessary part of keeping things safe and up to date.
We all want to be able to enjoy the nice new things, and refurbishments have to happen for this to occur.
Recent Room Refurbishment at Animal Kingdom
Earlier this year, Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village underwent a room refurbishment. Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jumbo house is currently undergoing this refurbishment. You can read more about the announcement of these refurbishments HERE.
In the refurbishment, a Murphy-style pull-down bed has replaced the pull-out style couch!

Kidani Village Lobby Refurbishment
Last month, Disney began refurbishing the lobby and nearby areas of Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kidani Village. All of the work is set to be completed by November, and the work will take place in phases.
From August 17th - October 9th the main lobby and primary entrance will be closed. The check-in is now located at the Palace Library.
Beginning September 28th and lasting to October 9th the north side lobby corridor will be closed. During this closure, the north side lobby elevators on the second floor and the outdoor terrace will be inaccessible.
The Kidani Village lobby and nearby areas refurbishment will happen in phases. Guests may see or hear construction during day time hours, which will have periods of more noticeable noise.
From October 26th through November 6th, the south side lobby corridor will be closed. While this closure is happening, the Community Hall, Safari So Good Arcade, the Palace Library, lobby restrooms, outdoor terrace observation deck, and the laundry room will be unavailable.
