Disney Updates EPCOT Guests on Germany Pavilion Closures
After multiple closures, there is a new update at EPCOT's Germany pavilion.
Disney Refurbishments
Refurbishments are a part of life at Disney Parks. These may take place for various reasons. Whether it's for mechanical issues or cosmetic updates, a refurbishment can happen for many reasons.
Based on the nature of the work, the refurbishment may take a few days or several months.
When possible, Disney tries to alert Guests of upcoming closures and refurbishments.
Three Germany Closures
While much refurbishment work is being done at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT seemed safe from construction walls. Disney did not announce refurbishment plans for the Germany pavilion. Earlier this week, we shared that three big closures were now affecting Guests.
Both the Volkskunst store and the Der Teddybar store were closed. Along with construction walls now surrounding the restrooms located in the Germany pavilion.
During this closure, Guests are encouraged to visit restrooms in The American Adventure or in Norway.
Der Teddybar Reopens
The good news is that at least one location is now reopened at the Germany Pavilion. Yesterday, we noticed that the Der Teddybar store is now open to Guests.

The Kidcot location has now moved inside the Der Teddybar store near the cash registers. Disney has not yet provided a reopening timeline for the restrooms or the Volkskunst store.
