Three Big Changes Affect EPCOT's Germany Pavilion
Without warning, these 3 changes now affect Guests at EPCOT's Germany Pavilion.
EPCOT's World Showcase
Each of Epcot's 11 World Showcase themed pavilions was created to represent each country's landscape, architecture, and marketplaces.
In each pavilion, you will find attractions, entertainment, architecture, food, shopping, and more. You could easily spend multiple visits exploring what each pavilion has to offer.
The best part is how immersive each pavilion is. Each pavilion is staffed with cultural representatives from the pavilion's country to provide an even more authentic experience.
Germany Stores Now Closed
While much refurbishment work is being done at Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT seemed safe from construction walls. Disney did not announce refurbishment plans for the Germany pavilion, but now 3 closures affect Guests.
First, the Volkskunst store is now closed. This shop sells authentic German clocks and crafts, and this unique store is a favorite of Guests.
Secondly, the Der Teddybar store is now closed. This shop offers pins, apparel, and accessories. Due to these closures, Kidcot is now located at the closed doors that once opened to allow Guests access to these two stores.
Germany Restroom Closed
Thirdly, construction walls now surround the restrooms located in the Germany pavilion. There is no reopening timeline for these restrooms.
Restrooms in the Germany pavilion are now closed for an unexpected refurbishment.
Guests are encouraged to visit restrooms in The American Adventure or in Norway.

Agree with Doris! Many of these closures are not just small but seems to cover a lot of area. And not just one park but in every one. MK has a large area closed right in the middle of the park, HS Muppet area is all closed (Christmas Shop, Italian restaurant, etc), EPCOT is now Germany after recently reopening large areas and AK Dinosaur area and other areas were closed. No matter what Park you just look at construction walls!
Not sure if I missed it, how long will Germany be closed? Those rest rooms are busy.
Have put off visiting as am tired of looking at construction walls in the Parks and often at the resorts.
This sounds more like there’s something wrong with the plumbing or maybe some water damage and/or leaking, possibly from the bathrooms.
ALL OF THE CLOSURES AT EVERY PARK IS NOW CONSIDERED AS OVER KILL
THIS IS ENTIRELY TOO MUCH AT THE SAME TIME CAN’T YOU FINISH ONE REFURBISHMENT BEFORE STARTING SEVERAL OTHERS WE DO NOT ENJOY GOING TO THE PARKS AND ALL YOU SEE IS WALLS EVERYWHERE
