A Rare Villain Will Appear at Disney's Halloween Party
Disney is teasing all of the ghoulish delights as we approach spooky season. See which rare villain will be delighting Guests this year.
When will Disney World decorate for Halloween?
Halloween seems like forever away, but we are almost there! Before we know it, we will be celebrating all things not-so-spooky at Disney Parks and at home!
Back in April, Disney confirmed August 7th as the official start of the Halloween season at Walt Disney World.
This coincides with the first Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year. It seems like every year, the starting date gets earlier and earlier.
Oogie Boogie Bash
On the West Coast, Halloween starts a little later. The first Oogie Boogie Bash begins on August 21, 2026, at Disney's California Adventure.
This separately ticketed after-hours event welcomes guests, including adults, to show off their favorite Halloween costumes. The event is filled with villainous characters that are sure to please people of all ages!
The bash promises a fun-filled evening with treat trails, character sightings, special entertainment, themed merchandise, and exclusive food and beverages.
This fall, Guests can enjoy a ghoulish "Madam Leota's: Haunted Mansion Street Party."
New Villain Coming to Halloween Event
Every year, the character lineup changes a bit. Disney just teased that a new Disney villain will join the Oogie Boogie Bash this year, and we are thinking that this will be Yzma from Emperor's New Groove.
