Disney Refurbishments
Refurbishments are a part of life at Disney Parks. These may take place for various reasons. Whether it be for mechanical issues or cosmetic updates, a refurbishment can take place for many reasons.
Based on the nature of the work, the refurbishment may take a few days or several months.
When possible, Disney tries to alert Guests of upcoming closures and refurbishments.
DVC Lounge Refurbishment
Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a timeshare run by Disney. Members can enjoy special perks throughout the year, but one of these perks is changing briefly.
DVC Members are now being notified that the Disney Vacation Club Star View Station- A Member Lounge at Disneyland Park will close on July 27, 2026, for routine maintenance.
It is expected to reopen in the fall of 2026.
DVC Temporary Lounge
DVC Members visiting Disneyland during this temporary closure are welcome to enjoy the temporary lounge located inside Starcade (near the exit of Space Mountain in Tomorrowland).
Disney Vacation Club Star View Station- A Member Lounge at Disneyland Park will close on July 27, 2026, for routine maintenance.
Disney shares that eligible DVC Members can enjoy comfortable seating, complimentary beverages, and snacks. The Starcade lounge will be open daily from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm (subject to change).
