As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. Recently, the Walt Disney Company shared BIG plans for Walt Disney World over the next 10 years.

These plans greatly affect Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Epcot was in a state of transformation that began in 2019 and continued until CommuniCore Hall was completed in 2024.

While the EPCOT transformation was pared down quite a bit, the majority of work is now complete in this park for the time being. However, a new park map seems to encourage Guests to enjoy the parks after dark.

Previously, the EPCOT park map featured "Fun For Kids of All Ages". A large section was devoted to play zones and the interactive The Seas with Nemo and Friends zone.

This space is now updated with a nighttime scene featuring "EPCOT At Night". Included in this new layout are Luminious The Symphony of Us and the breathtaking light show on Spaceship Earth.

Guests are encouraged to visit the Journey of Water inspired by Moana at night. While this attraction is beautiful during the day, it truly comes to life at night.

The Canada Pavilion adds that the NEW La Poutinerie is now open to Guests. After opening in 2025, Disney removed the title "NEW" from GEO-82.

Disney has now consolidated the "Fun For Kids of All Ages" into a single section by removing the Ducktales World Showcase Adventure, which featured the Play Disney Parks app. While this is still available, it is no longer listed.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!

  1. I think adding the Moana water area was the most waste of money Disney ever spent!
I had high hopes for this but it is crammed into a small area that does not have room with everyone crowed into it with a bad crowd flow.
Advertising Luminous is good on Disneys part as is a nice show.
