EPCOT Opens a New Dining Location

EPCOT Opens a New Dining Location

EPCOT just opened a new dining location, and we aren't sure if this is a perfect addition or a big miss.

EPCOT Closures

Warning: Upcoming Closure Scheduled at EPCOT

Occasionally, our favorite attractions, restaurants, shops, and even sections of hotels are closed for a minor or sometimes major refurbishment. These refurbishments can sometimes greatly affect your vacation.

Back in January, we shared that EPCOT's Refreshment Port was closing. Disney did not provide details regarding what the refurbishment would include. There was also no official reopening date announced.

We had hopes that this location would eventually reopen. Today, we have an official announcement that Refreshment Port is closed permanently.

Refreshment Port Change

Refreshment Port was a permanent kiosk that offered delicious ice cream treats along with varying poutine entrees (changing for each festival).

Earlier, we shared that this location will reopen as La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada, with a new partnership deal.

Air Canada provided a brief description for this new location: "A taste of Canada at EPCOT. La Poutinerie, hosted by Air Canada, brings a Canadian classic with a twist."

Today, July 1, 2026, La Poutinerie officially opened on Canada Day. Operating hours are daily from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm.

The full menu includes:

  • Entree: Quebec: L'authentique: French fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy: $10.99
  • Entree: Montreal: Vivande Fumee: French fries, cheese curds, smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy $12.49
  • Spiced Apple Slushy: Frozen ginger beer blended with lively lime and cozy spiced apple flavors (non-alcoholic): $6.29
  • Spiced Apple Mule: Frozen ginger beer blended with lively lime and cozy spiced apple flavors with Iceberg Canadian Vodka: $14.50
  • Unibroue La Fin du Monde Begian-style Triple Air: $14
  • Molson Canadian Lager: $10.75
  • Domaine Ste. Michelle Sparkling Brut, Columbia Valley: $7.50
  • Jackson-Triggs Reserve Red Blend: $12
  • Assorted fountain beverages: $4.79

Many Disney Guests feel that this is an upgrade from the previous Refreshment Port menu. I (Donna) would personally like more than just 2 entree options at this dining location.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!
