Brand New Lilo and Stitch Short Just Announced
Happy 626 Day in honor of our favorite alien, Stitch. Disney just announced a brand new animated Lilo and Stitch film, and we are in love!!!!
626 Stitch Day
As many Disney fans are aware, Stitch is celebrating his BIG day. The original scientific name given to Stitch was Experiment 626, which is commemorated annually by fans on June 26 (6/26).
Every year, Disney creates a fun way to celebrate Stitch on this date. We have seen fun photo ops to festive treats for Stitch fans to join in on the festivities.
Today, Disney gives us the best 626-day gift ever!!!
Lilo & Stitch
The live-action "Lilo & Stitch" was a HUGE hit at the theaters in May 2025 and then later when it landed on Disney+.
Now, a brand new Lilo & Stitch short is coming this fall. We saw the first glimpse of this new film at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
After showing a new trailer from Disney's Hexed, Disney announced a new Lilo & Stitch short, which will debut alongside Hexed on November 25, 2026.
Lilo & Scratch
According to Deadline, Lilo & Stitch welcome a new furry friend, a cat who is determined to eat Stitch's fish, Pudge.
"Lilo & Scratch" will debut alongside Disney's Hexed on November 25, 2026.
This new short will bring back Chris Sanders, the original voice of Stitch, along with Lilo, voiced by the live-action actress Maia Kealoha. Titled "Lilo & Scratch", we can't wait to see this new adventure.
