EPCOT Opens New Lounge for Guests
EPCOT finally listened to one of our biggest complaints! The best part is that Guests can enjoy this new addition starting today.
EPCOT Festivals
EPCOT offers several festivals throughout the year, starting with the International Festival of the Arts during January and February. Spring brings the International Flower and Garden Festival.
The dates seem to change every year for the International Food and Wine Festival, and finally, the International Festival of the Holidays ends the year with yuletide fun.
These international festivals offer great entertainment, interactive experiences, fun scavenger hunts, and great culinary dishes. With numerous festivals featured throughout the year, EPCOT appears quite different during these festivals.
EPCOT Between Festivals
After several years of us wondering if Walt Disney World listens to guest feedback, they are making so many positive changes that guests have wanted for so long.
During EPCOT festivals, the Odyssey Pavilion offers a fun themed lounge. This includes special food options, fun decorations, and, at times, special entertainment.
Since EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Festival ended on June 1st and the International Food and Wine Festival does not begin until August 27th, Disney is now bringing a fresh new lounge for Guests to enjoy.
Light Lounge
Today, the Light Lounge at the Odyssey officially opens from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. This will provide Guests with a nice air-conditioned break, along with a few great offerings.
Light Lounge opens today at EPCOT from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
Max & Audar-Amaring Masters of Variety will provide entertainment throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy a new menu:
- Chicken strips with french fries: $10.99
- Apple-Caramel Churro Bites with vanilla dipping sauce: $6.99
- Caramel Popcorn Churro Bites: $6.49
- Assorted bottled beverages
- Frozen Fruit Slush with Cotton Candy and a glow cube: $9.29
- Seasonal draft beverages (alcoholic): $12.50
Last year, they opened the Odyssey in the summer, but not with an exact theme. We love that this now offers a themed lounge.
