Disney Offers Free Savi's Workshop Lightsaber Experience

What is the Difference at Savi's Workshop?
There are many different options and price points for Star Wars fans wanting to bring home their lightsaber for Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. There is a fairly inexpensive option to customize your lightsaber at Tatooine Traders. Be sure to check out this experience HERE.
Secondly, guests can create their custom lightsaber at Walt Disney World at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. At this location, guests can purchase various hilts and the light saber blades separately.
Finally, there is also the ultimate fan experience at Savi's Workshop. Not only do you build the lightsaber, but you also bring it to life with the power of kyber crystals.
Savi's Workshop Workshop Free Experience
Young Guests and their families can enjoy a FREE "Loth-Cat Crew Experience" at Black Squire Outpost. This experience offers a traditional standby queue from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm daily.
Disney describes this experience as, "Kids and those who are kids at heart can participate in constructing a lightsaber and become the newest members of the Loth-Cat Crew.
This offering is an interactive experience only, and a lightsaber is not included with participation. Visitors have the option to purchase a lightsaber at the end of the experience."

It is important to note that currently this is only offered at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge located at Disneyland. Due to this free experience offered until 2:00 pm, advanced reservations for Savi's Workshop are now offered only 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm daily.

Originally forged by dark side warriors, this style features rumored remnants from the Sith homeworld and abandoned temples. - Elemental Nature
This theme embodies the Force-an energy created by all living things, like Brylark trees, Cartusion whale bones and Rancor teeth. - Protection and Defense
Hilt materials bear mysterious motifs and inscriptions that reconnect users with the ancient wellspring of the Force.
The Gatherers will now help you select the heart of your lightsaber-the kyber crystal. Which color calls to you?
- Blue, wielded by heroes like Obi Wan Kenobi
- Green, favored by legends like Luke Skywalker and Master Yoda
- Violet, the shade that served Mace Windu
- Red, like the blades of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Asajj Ventress
