The Best Use of a Disney Snack Credit in 2026
If you are trying to maximize the dining plan, we certainly don't blame you! Here is how to stretch your snack credit the furthest!
Snack Credits on the Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to make Guests feel like their trip is something akin to an All-Inclusive Resort. After all, isn't it fun to simply scan your bracelet and order just about whatever you like?
Some Guests make it their life's mission to squeeze every ounce of value out of the dining plan, while others simply use it as a matter of convenience. I tend to be a value-maxer.
If you want to max out your value on the Disney Dining Plan, don't sleep on great snacks! Some of Disney's MOST expensive snacks are on the dining plan, making them an excellent choice in terms of maxing out snack credit value.
Disney's Most Valuable Snack Credit

In general, if you want to maximize your snack credits, you are going to want to go for snacks that cost $7-8 or more. Consider paying out of pocket for anything less, unless, of course, you don't plan to use more than one snack credit per day per person.
At this time, one of Disney's very best Snack Credits costs $14.00 out of pocket, making it an excellent use of a credit. Better yet, you can make an entire meal off of it. This very valuable snack is the Tokyo Sushi Combo, found at Epcot's Japan Pavilion in World Showcase.

It is sold at Kabuki Cafe, which also sells extremely popular shaved ice creations. This kiosk opens at 11 typically. I am actually shocked these platters still qualify as snack credits because they are such high-dollar items.
And, it is good quality, too. I would say it is similar to really good grocery store sushi. It comes with 4 pieces of California roll and 3 pieces of Nigiri (tuna, salmon, and shrimp).

While it is a great use of a snack credit, it is a poor value out of pocket. But one of Disney's BEST value snacks when you are paying out of pocket is in Japan. You can read about it HERE.
Other Great Uses of Snack Credits

Of course, EPCOT also hosts multiple festivals a year with snack offerings, and some of them fall into the $8-10 range, making them great uses of snack credits. For example, the Grilled Beef Strip Loin at Farmer's Feast at EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is $8.70, making it a great option.
Disney has many snacks for $8 or more if you are looking to maximize your snack credits.
In Magic Kingdom, the extremely popular Waffles and Funnel Cakes at Sleepy Hollow also qualify as Snack Credits. This is GREAT news since they are over $9 each and are filling enough to be a meal or big enough to share as a snack or dessert.

Additionally, the Sundaes and ice cream creations at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor can also be excellent uses of snack credits! The All-American Sundae is one treat to consider if you want to max out your credits and you love Peanut Butter. Likewise, Disney's viral Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at Terra Treats is another example of a solid option, since it costs over $8.
But remember, nothing is a good use of a credit if you don't actually want to eat it. Be sure you are getting the things you enjoy!
