There are many differing opinions on transportation options, largely depending upon which Disney Resort you are staying at and also which Park you will be visiting.

The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE, and many questions revolve around what is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive at each Park.

Some guests choose their Disney resort based on transportation options, particularly with resorts along the monorail loop and the Disney Skyliner.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can take Disney Transportation to Disney Springs. Some Resorts offer bus transportation or water taxi transportation.

Last summer, Disney Springs heightened security. When guests exit their Disney Resort bus, they must stand in line for a limited number of Evolv scanners.

Last week, Disney Springs brought tighter restrictions aboard bus transportation. Guests boarding buses heading towards a Walt Disney World Resort at Disney Springs must now show either a Resort room reservation, a dining reservation, or a recreation activity reservation.

From our understanding, this was a temporary restriction due to Easter crowds. Thankfully, that was the case, and these restrictions have now been lifted. Guests exiting Disney Springs NO LONGER have to show a Resort room reservation, a dining reservation, or a recreation activity reservation before boarding a Disney Resort bus.

Be advised that if you are traveling during a holiday, such as the 4th of July, these restrictions may return.
