Guardians of the Galaxy Crosses Over to Magic Kingdom
Disney magic is everywhere, but we were not expecting to see Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy at Magic Kingdom. Check out this surprise appearance.
Rare Disney Characters
One thing that sets Disney Parks apart from other Theme Parks is so many great character meet and greets. We all love classic characters like Mickey and his pals, but many Disney fans love rare meet-and-greets.
Currently, Guests can meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom for a limited time. Also this month, Disney's Animal Kingdom will often feature rare characters in celebration of Earth Day on April 22, 2026.
It is important to note that Disney reserves the right to make changes to characters and entertainment as needed.
Star-Lord Meet and Greet
Epcot is home to many meet and greets, including characters in the World Showcase, Imagination Pavilion, and World Celebration.
In September 2024, EPCOT added another great character meet and greet with Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Guests can meet and interact with Star-Lord, get his autograph, and maybe dance with him to some cool tunes near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction.
Star-Lord at Magic Kingdom
Meeting times are subject to change, but most days he greets EPCOT Guests at 11:25 am, 12:30 pm, 2:10 pm, and 3:10 pm.
Star-Lord appeared at Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland.
What we did not expect was to see Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy at Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. Star-Lord dancing with Chip was the character mashup that we didn't know that we needed.

We are unsure if this was a once-in-a-lifetime appearance or if Star-Lord will continue to delight Guests at both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.
