Disney World Airport Transportation Now Costs More
Do you miss the Disney Magical Express option shuttling guests on a magical journey to and from the Orlando International Airport? This new change takes us even further away from that once free magical perk.
Change from Magical Express

We were absolutely shocked that Disney planned to end Disney's Magical Express for Disney Hotel Guests in 2022. This is just one of the many perks that Disney has changed over the years.
Many Guests turned to rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft to help them get around. Meanwhile, two companies emerged offering a shuttle service to and from Walt Disney World Resort.
Eventually, these two companies merged into Mears Connect. Many wonder if this is the best transportation option. Check out our review HERE.
MEARS Price Increase

There are a few reasons why Walt Disney World guests enjoy Mears Connect. One of the primary reasons guests prefer Mears to a rideshare option is that this is a cheaper option with no surge pricing.
Unfortunately, Mears just announced a new fuel surcharge due to the high fuel costs affecting our country.
A 3% fuel surcharge is now being added to all existing Mears reservations. The company added this new alert to the top of their website.
How long will Mears surcharge last?

This may seem like a small surcharge, but this still is unexpected for Guests hoping to stay on budget with a Walt Disney World vacation.
Mears just added a 3% surcharge to all existing reservations.
It is possible that this may be a temporary price increase, but an end date has not been provided.
What do you think of this surcharge? Will this change your transportation plans from the Orlando International Airport? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.

Wow !
Next they will want fixed tips. Like all business owners who want to transfer labor costs onto the public, so they can pay their employees by force.
I don't supplement employees wages because owners run a for profit business.
If in business you pay them ! Should I demand a fuel charge fee to my employer to pay for my travel expenses ?
Should I tip the new car salesmen ?
Tip the refrigerator salesman ?
Can I run a credit check on my physician to see if he or she generates pointless office visits to prop up
profits for their underperforming practice ?
Sheesh ?
Gouge like Disney because it works for them.
The extra tips are a bit excessive right now
