Soarin' Around the World is a popular Disney attraction that can be found on both coasts. You can experience it at EPCOT in Walt Disney World or at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland.
The Walt Disney Company has shared that a new version, "Soarin' Across America," will debut at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States.
"Soarin' Across America" will include dozens of new locations featured on this flight.
Soarin' Around the World Closure
"Soarin' Across America" comes to EPCOT on May 26, 2026, and to Disney's California Adventure on July 2, 2026.
"Soarin' Around The World" at EPCOT will close in preparation for "Soarin' Across America." Guests can experience "Soarin' Around the World" through May 13th, 2026.
At Disney's California Adventure, Guests are currently able to experience "Soarin' Over California." Guests can experience "Soarin' Over California" through July 1st before "Soarin' Across America" arrives.
New Permit Filed for Soarin'
Walt Disney World filed a new permit for Soarin' that could mean more changes are coming to this attraction at EPCOT.
Soarin' Across America opens on May 26, 2026, at EPCOT.
A new permit lists Icarus Exhibits, Inc as the contractor to install set elements. This seems to imply that more than simply a different film may take place during this closure.
