Disney World Value Resorts
Disney offers a variety of resort options to best fit each guest's needs and price points. These include value resorts, moderate resorts, and deluxe resorts.
Value resorts offer fun themes and great Disney perks while being the lowest in price of the other Disney resorts. Now, Disney is giving a magical touch to all of Walt Disney World's Value Resorts.
A new redesign first began at Disney's Pop Century Resort, and this gives a glimpse of what we can expect for other Disney Value Resorts in the future.
Pop Century Changes
Disney's Pop Century Resort has been undergoing refurbishment for months. The lobby received a "retro refresh" which came with mixed reviews from fans.
To our surprise, the nostalgic shadow boxes that featured popular memorabilia from each decade are now missing. These visual time capsules are now replaced by murals of Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck with a retro pattern created from records, bowling pins, and classic cars.
While we are not sure about the somewhat generic lobby changes, we do love the new movie theater space for young guests to enjoy classic Disney films.
Disney's Pop Century New Rooms
Disney's Pop Century rooms also received an update. Disney describes this work as "Refreshed curtains and patterned upholstery add extra personality, with subtle touches - including Hidden Mickeys in the chair fabric - that keep the space feeling unmistakably Disney while still clean, comfortable, and functional."

Disney recently alerted Guests that beginning late May 2026, Disney's All-Star Movies will begin a lengthy room refurbishment. This will greatly reduce the number of rooms available for Guests to book.
We expect this new room design at Pop Century will become the new look for the All-Star Resorts. This will be a fairly long process to complete throughout all 3 Disney All-Star Resorts.
