Do You Need the New My Disney Experience Update?
If you dislike spending your vacation on your phone, Disney just made a great change to the My Disney Experience app that you will love!

Although many guests would rather not be on their phone while on vacation, the My Disney Experience app for Disney World Guests is truly invaluable. After all, it has everything you need to enjoy a magical vacation!
This app helps Guests plan their vacation, from booking their next Lightning Lane Multi-Pass selection to even locating their car after a long day in the parks.
Like all apps, it receives regular updates to improve the overall guest experience. The most recent updates include great updates to help save money on your Disney vacation and easier Park navigation.
My Disney Experience Update
Today, we noticed new magical touches to the My Disney Experience app. Previously, when you would search for an attraction, for example, the search would display a small circular thumbnail (as pictured above).
Now, instead of the small icon that is rather difficult to see, this image is replaced with a new, larger display icon.
Disney shares, "We've made general app improvements to help you discover more magic around Walt Disney World Resort."
My Disney Experience App 8.19.0
Although the search results are identical, the size of the image and the larger display are a great addition. This is great news for Guests who have found it difficult to navigate through the My Disney Experience app previously.
My Disney Experience app newest version 8.19.0, is now available.
To enjoy this new search feature, make sure that you have updated your My Disney Experience app to version 8.19.0 through the App Store.
