Universal Extends This Epic Universe Closure...AGAIN!

Universal has extended a closure for refurbishment again. Find out how long this extension will last.

Unfortunately, refurbishments need to happen to keep things running at their best. It is always disappointing when you spend months planning a trip only to find your favorite attraction, resort, restaurant, or even recreational activity is subject to refurbishment plans.

Refurbishments can occur at attractions, resorts, restaurants, and even recreational activities.

Refurbishments can last a few days to several months. Sometimes, refurbishments can even be extended.

Stardust Racers Refurbishment

Stardust Racers closed on February 19th for a brief refurbishment. At the time of the attractions closure, it was only expected to be closed through February 21st.

Stardust Racers closed for what was to be a brief refurbishment on February 19th. 

No details have been shared on what the refurbishment entails. Unfortunately, we previously shared that this refurbishment was already extended through March 14th. Now, this refurbishment closure has been extended yet again!

Refurbishment Closure Extended

Universal has shared that the closure of Stardust Racers will now last through April 5th, 2026. The attraction is set to reopen on April 6th, 2026.

Stardust Racers is set to reopen on April 6th, 2026 since its closure on February 19th, 2026.

This extension will have the attraction closed for over six weeks! This extended ride closures will impact guest visiting during Spring Break.
