Epic Universe Attraction Refurbishment Extended

Universal has extended an attraction refurbishment at Epic Universe. Find out how this could impact your Universal vacation.

Unfortunately, refurbishments need to happen to keep things running at their best. It is always disappointing when you spend months planning a trip only to find your favorite attraction, resort, restaurant, or even recreational activity is subject to refurbishment plans.

Refurbishments can occur at attractions, resorts, restaurants, and even recreational activities.

Refurbishments can last a few days to several months. Sometimes, refurbishments can even be extended.

Stardust Racers

Stardust Racers closed on February 19th for a brief refurbishment. At the time of the attractions closure, it was only expected to be closed through February 21st.

No details have been shared on what the refurbishment entails. Unfortunately, this refurbishment has since been extended.

Refurbishment Extended

Now, Stardust Racers closure for refurbishment will last through March 14, 2026. This is three weeks longer than originally anticipated.

Stardust Racers will reopen on March 15th, 2026.

At this time, Stardust Racers is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, March 15th, 2026. This isn't the first extension for an Epic Universe attraction refurbishment. Fyre Drill had multiple extensions during its refurbishment closure.
