Encanto Attraction Takes Exciting Step Forward

This is a BIG step forward for the first-ever Encanto attraction coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Check out this new development.

Animal Kingdom Changes

One thing that Walt Disney disliked was distractions that entered the sightline of Disneyland. He wanted Guests to escape from the everyday concerns and be immersed in lands of magic, wonder, and adventure.

However, Walt Disney also never wanted Disneyland to be complete, which means all Disney Parks "Keep moving forward." This is, in fact, the current state of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

In January, we were given our first peek behind the construction walls and inside the Encanto building. This attraction is going to be HUGE!

Now it appears that the Encanto attraction is entering a new phase that will include set installation. A new permit is now filed at the address, 504 Dinoland Drive, which is the new location for the Encanto attraction.

The permit lists Scenario as the contractor for this work to install set elements. Scenario is best known for its work in creating Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the Rise of the Resistance attraction.

We can't wait to see how they bring the Casa Madrigal to life with this new Encanto attraction.

Encanto Playground

Along with this large attraction, Disney will also bring a new play space for the young and young at heart to enjoy. Last month we shared the new Tropical Americas playground map that is proposed for this new space. Check out this first look HERE.
