Disney's Hollywood Studios has several BIG changes taking place at the moment. Animation Courtyard permanently closed on September 25, 2025. Guests look forward to the phased opening of this newly imagined space this summer.

The Muppet Courtyard officially closed in June 2025. Since that closure, many buildings have been removed.

We now see "Monster Size" progress at Monstropolis as work begins for pouring concrete. Check out the layout for this new land HERE.

Walt Disney World confirmed a Muppets re-theme of the popular attraction. For this big change from Aerosmith to the Muppets, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will officially close on March 2, 2026.

This means the final day to enjoy this attraction is today, March 1, 2026. As suspected, large crowds flocked to this attraction to enjoy one final ride.

Currently, at 9: 30 am, the wait is 120 minutes and counting. Check out the BIG changes coming with the Muppet takeover HERE.

Unfortunately, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is temporarily closed. With already large crowds arriving at the park for the final day of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, this creates a ripple effect of high wait times.

At the time of this writing, Slinky Dog has a 65-minute wait, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has a 70-minute wait, Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run has a 95-minute wait, Toy Story Mania has a 50-minute wait, and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror has a 40-minute wait.

Many times, when an attraction closes, Disney Cast Members will hand out wrist bands to help manage crowds for the final operating day of an attraction. At this time, wrist bands have not yet been distributed for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

  1. I bought a lightning lane for Rock n roller coaster just in case Single rider line was closed and in case the standby wait is 4 or 5 hours.
