One Disney Character Warehouse Location is Closing Forever

If you love finding a good deal and you love Disney, then Disney Character Warehouse is a place for you! The retail store serves as an outlet for Disney Merchandise, specifically merchandise found in Disney Parks.
Character Warehouse locations are few and far between, but if you can get to one, you will be rewarded with major discounts. And you will find more than just seasonal merchandise from Halloween, Christmas, and EPCOT Festivals. You will also find anything from Ear Headbands to Spirit Jerseys to Disney pins to Loungeflys.
Recently, Character Warehouse made news for tightening up on its policies. As of this month, all sales are final. And, one store is about to make its final sale.
Disney Character Warehouse Location Closure
Unfortunately, employees at one Character Warehouse location recently received a somber communication. The location will be closing permanently.
Employees have been notifying guests of the change. The closure takes effect on April 15, 2026.
According to employees, the rationale is simply that Disney does not wish to renew the lease for the location.
Which Character Warehouse Location is Closing
The April 15, 2026, closure only currently impacts the Sawgrass Mills Disney Character Warehouse store. This store is about three hours from Walt Disney World near Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The closure not currently impact the two Character Warehouse Locations at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets or Orlando International Premium Outlets near Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
So far, there have been no announcements related to the two Disney Character Warehouse locations near Walt Disney World. These include the stores at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets or Orlando International Premium Outlets. However, if any news breaks pertaining to these two locations, we will let you know!
Our hearts are with the Cast Members at the Sawgrass Mills Character Warehouse who will have to work elsewhere soon.
