Disney Warns of This Major Change for Merchandise Returns

Disney Deters Resellers
As excited as we are for new Disney merchandise, some Guests purchase quite a few Disney items. They may be sharing these with their friends perhaps, or they may be serving as personal shoppers to others.
This can deplete merchandise for other Guests who want to purchase new souvenirs for their personal enjoyment.
One way that Disney has taken aim against resellers is by limiting merchandise to "2 per item, per Guest" at Walt Disney World.
Disney Character Warehouse
The second way Disney has helped Guests against resellers is by offering popular merchandise online. We're looking at you, Donald Duck Christmas Tree Sipper.
Now, Disney takes a third aim against resellers. The frugal Disney fans may already know about the Disney Character Warehouse. With two locations close to Orlando, the Character Warehouse is a retailer that sells Disney apparel, accessories, plush toys, and other items at a reduced price.
A BIG change is now in place at both Character Warehouse locations, and this appears to be directed towards resellers.
Change to Disney's Return Policy
There are now signs posted at the two Character Warehouse locations that the return policy will officially change on February 1, 2026. "All sales at Character Warehouse locations and Cast Connection will be final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be accepted; all items will be sold as-is with no exceptions."
Both Character Warehouse locations warn Guests that the return policy will officially change on February 1, 2026.
"Items purchased on or before January 31, 2026, may be returned within 30 days with a valid original receipt unless the item was sold 'as-is', 'all sales final', or 'no returns, exchanges or refunds'."
It appears that this may be a big change for guests purchasing multiples of discounted items in hopes of reselling these online.
