Disney Makes BIG Change To Starlight Parade That You NEED To Know
Disney has just made a big change to the nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away. Find out what the change is and how it WILL impact your Disney vacation.
Disney Starlight Parade: Dream The Night Away

Magic Kingdom fans have been waiting for a nighttime parade since 2016. "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" drew inspiration from the rich history of nighttime parades at Magic Kingdom.
"Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away" parade debuted on July 20, 2025 at Magic Kingdom.
Disney has made some adjustments to the parade since its debut. You can see the additions it has made HERE. Be sure to check the showtime schedule when hoping to view this parade as the parade has reduced from two showings to one on select nights.
BIG CHANGE

Since its debut the nighttime parade has begun from Town Square, travels down Main Street U.S.A. and finishes in Frontierland. Confirmed by Cast Members, the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade route has changed for the second showing.
On nights that there are two parades, the second parade will begin in Frontierland, travel up Main Street U.S.A, and finish in Town Square.
On nights where this is only one parade, the parade will follow its original route, starting in Town Square and finishing in Frontierland.
What Does This Mean To You?

Disney has not shared why this change was made, but it is most likely due to crowd management. It is important to know which direction the parade will be traveling, so you pick your viewing spot appropriately.
The second Starlight parade starts in Frontierland and ends at Town Square.
This is also important because if you were hoping to have a spot in Town Square to watch the parade start and then leave, you will now be waiting until the parade is finishing. This could be 15-20 minutes later then were expecting to see the parade.
Currently the showtimes for the first parade is at 7:45 PM and the second parade is at 10 PM.
