Why Today Is the Best Day to Purchase a Disney Annual Pass

Annual Passholder Perks
Annual Passholders receive some great perks at Walt Disney World. They include special merchandise and dining discounts and preview events for new attractions.

Annual Passholder Tiers
There are a few different options for a Walt Disney World Annual Pass. The Disney Incredi-Pass is the only pass available for both Florida residents and non-Florida residents. Of course, this is the most expensive pass currently at $1629 and offers the most available park reservations.
The Disney Sorcerer Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, and Disney Pixie Dust Pass are only available for Florida residents. One other benefit for Florida residents is that these passes may be paid monthly.
Disney is now changing the payment structure for Florida Resident Annual Pass sales. The initial down payment is now lower.
Lower Annual Passholder Down Payment
The big question many will have is, "Does this cost more?" The great news is that the price of the Florida resident Annual Passes (Disney Pirate Pass, Incredi-Pass, and Disney Pixie Dust Pass) will not increase.
Starting today, Florida residents can purchase an Annual Pass with a $99 down payment.
Each Annual Pass remains the same price; the payment structure simply shifts to allow guests a lower price initially. Previously, the down payment was $205. This is now lowered to $99 per pass. The current monthly payments change as follows (for 12 months):
- Sorcerer Pass: now $89.29 per month (after $99 down)(total: $1099)
- Pirate Pass: now $68.88 per month (after $99 down)(total: $869)
- Pixie Dust Pass: $35.25 per month (after $99 down)(total: 489)
- Incredi-Pass: $136.33 per month (after $99 down)(total $1,069)
It is important to note that you must be a Florida resident with a valid ID and be at least 18 years old to use this monthly payment plan option.
Disney has recently surveyed Guests to gauge interest for a new Annual Passholder discount. We hope that this new discount will be available to all guests and not only Florida residents.
