Disney World Alerts Park Guests Today
Disney World Guests receive alerts for attraction closures and refurbishment news, but this may be a first. Find out how this may change your next visit to the Disney Parks.
Disney World Alerts

Disney tries to update guests on upcoming refurbishments and closures in advance when possible in both the Theme Park and at Disney Resorts.
Many do not often consider cold weather warnings and winter weather advisories when visiting "Florida: the Sunshine State", but this year has been plagued with them.
The National Weather Service issued an Extreme Cold Watch for all of Walt Disney World this past weekend. While we loved seeing the many "frozen fractals all around" Walt Disney World this did create extra work for Cast Members.
Disney Landscape Damaged

In order to prepare for this icy, arctic blast, Cast Members worked tirelessly to cover many plants and flower beds throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Additional safety measures were added for Guests and Cast Members for these historic cold temps. Unfortunately, there were a few casualties from the big freeze.
Today, Guests noticed signs from the Disney Horticulture Team stating, "Please pardon our appearance, we had a visit from Jack Frost."
Disney Plans to Recover

The Disney Parks take great pride in their beautiful landscapes. It is one of the things that truly sets Disney Parks apart from other Theme Parks.
The Disney Horticulture team is working to repair damage from the extreme cold weather this weekend.
The Disney Horticulture team shares, "We are in the process of replanting this area for your future enjoyment." If you have an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, you may notice a few flowerbeds looking a little less than magical.
What do you think of this damage from the recent cold weather? Did you visit the Parks this weekend? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
