Happily Ever After Suffers Disappointing Change
If you love Magic Kingdom's Happily Ever After, you may want to prepare for this change while painting takes place for Cinderella Castle.
Cinderella Castle Refurbishment

Yesterday, work began to repaint Cinderella Castle to classic grays, creams, and blues reminiscent of its classic look, complete with touches of gold!
As with previous refurbishments, this will bring unwelcome changes to Cinderella Castle.
While a large crane will be present for this work, Disney shares that cranes will be out of sight by noon each day.
Cinderella Castle Stage Shows

Due to the nature of this refurbishment, this will also affect several entertainment options that center around Cinderella Castle.
Yesterday, we shared that the "Let the Magic Begin" opening show is greatly altered and missing characters. Along with this change comes a shift in showtimes for "Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire". You can check out these updated showtimes HERE.
The firework bursts are now missing from the "Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire" show as well. Unfortunately, this refurbishment also brings changes to "Happily Ever After".
Happily Ever After Changes

We suspected that this show may look different due to the projection mapping on Cinderella Castle. Last night, all projections and fireworks remained the same, but the lasers were now missing, which we assume is due to the refurbishment.
Lasers are now missing from "Happily Ever After".
While we are thankful that the show is still being offered, this is a bit disappointing, especially in the finale sequence. As the Cinderella Castle refurbishment continues, we may see even more changes to the "Happily Ever After" show.
