Orlando International Airport Issues Warning to Travelers
A big winter storm is moving across the country, and Orlando International Airport is warning travelers. Find out what you need to know.
Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport (MCO for short) is a busy airport. Many people traveling to or from Disney World or Universal Orlando use this airport as it is only about a half hour away.
MCO is consistently listed in the top 10 busiest airports in the United States due to the number of travelers visiting Central Florida. At over11,000 acres it is also one of the largest airports as well.
If you are traveling through the Orlando International Airport over the next few years, beware that a multi-year refurbishment is now underway. You can read more about this refurbishment project HERE.
Orlando International Airport Issues Warning

Even though Orlando is not in the direct path of the storm, the airport is still warning travelers of the impact this storm will have. See the post they shared below:
This will be a high-impact storm, as it is expected to bring widespread heavy snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
This will also be a long-duration storm, as it will impact the Southern Rockies and Plains into the Mid-South starting today, Friday, and lasting into Monday for New England.
What Does This Mean For You?

This storm will cause disruptions for travelers throughout the country. Some airlines are already offering passengers to change their flights for free. Be sure plan for any possible disruptions (delays and/or cancellations) as the possibility of delays and cancelations are sure to be widespread.
Be sure to check directly with your airline for any cancelations or delays.
Stay safe crew!
