One Universal Orlando Resort park has changed its operational hours. Check out which park has been impacted.
Cold Weather in Central Florida
Even though Florida is known as the Sunshine State, it doesn't always mean the weather is perfect to sit by the pool. Earlier this week, cold weather moved in, and will continue throughout the rest of the week.

Disney World has already closed (and even extended the closure) of Typhoon Lagoon. Universal will also adjust its water park, Volcano Bay, due to this inclement weather.
New Volcano Bay Closure
Universal has shared that Volcano Bay will be closed due to inclement weather. This closure will take place today, January 14th, and tomorrow, January 15th.
Universal's Volcano Bay will be closed both today, January 14th, and tomorrow, January 15th due to inclement weather.

Keep This In Mind
Be sure to check Volcano Bay's hours before venturing to the park, especially during the winter.
It is important to check Volcano Bay and other water park's hours of operation during the winter months. If cold weather is expected, water parks will close if needed.
At this time, Universal Orlando Resort has operational hours listed for Friday, January 16th. Operational hours are listed as opening at 10 am with Early Park Admission beginning at 9:30 am. These hours could change, we recommend checking back for the most up-to-date information.
