New Warning Issued at Disney World Parks

Guests are being warned before entering select locations at the Walt Disney World Parks. Be sure to be aware of this before your next Walt Disney World trip.

Walt Disney World is a popular vacation destination for many and is even used as a set for many popular television shows. Did you know that Disney's Hollywood Studios served as a filming set when it was MGM Studios?

Before MGM Studios officially opened in May of 1989, it served as a filming set for Newsies and Earnest Saves Christmas. Throughout the year, special filming takes place throughout Walt Disney World, such as near the holidays.

A few weeks ago, we shared that Hallmark will be filming a new movie called Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True. The best part is that filming is currently taking place at Walt Disney World.

That is the good part; the not-so-good part is that this does create a bit more congestion in the parks, and some areas are closed to guests.

The past few days we have spotted filming at Disney's Hollywood Studios near the entrance, around Echo Lake, and even in Toy Story Land.

At Magic Kingdom, Guests have noticed filming at Cinderella's wishing well and near the park entrance.

Disney World Filming Warning

When filming is taking place, Disney issues the following warning: "Filming in Progress: By entering and by your presence here, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming and/or recording and to any use, in any and all media throughout the universe in perpetuity, of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in connection with the production presently entitled "Mistletoe and Magic" and the advertising and promotion thereof."

Hallmark filming is now taking place at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

The warning goes on to state, "You understand that all photography, filming, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by you entering this area. You further understand and agree that you will not be entitled to any monies or other compensation in connection with the rights granted hereunder and under no circumstance shall you be entitled to enjoin or restrain the development, production, distribution, advertising, exploitation, or marketing of the production."

If you were hoping to keep your Walt Disney World vacation a secret, you may want to avoid the filming locations or your friends and family may see you in this Hallmark film.
