One of our favorite meet and greets is now missing at Magic Kingdom, along with a fun entertainment option. Find out the full details and the possible reason for this cancellation.

One thing that sets Disney Parks apart from other theme parks is the great entertainment options delighting guests throughout the day.

From multiple stage shows, awe-inspiring fireworks, cavalcades, and of course, the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Guests have so much to enjoy apart from the thrilling attractions.

Disney reserves the right to make changes to operational hours as needed.

Without any warning, the Winnie the Pooh and Tigger meet and greet is now missing at the Magic Kingdom. Guests could once meet both Pooh and Tigger at "The Thotful Spot" located adjacent to "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" attraction.

The Winnie the Pooh and Tigger meet and greet is still listed on the Walt Disney World website, but no longer lists performance times. This meet and greet is no longer listed on the My Disney Experience app.

Guests can still meet Winnie the Pooh at EPCOT in the United Kingdom pavilion. We heard a rumor that the reason for this change in the Magic Kingdom may be due to budget cuts, but it is unclear how long this meet and greet may be missing.

Nola and the Eighth Notes Removed

Along with this change, "Nola and the Eighth Notes" is now missing. This lively ensemble brought the sounds of New Orleans to Frontierland. Beginning last summer, guests could enjoy the main singer, Nola, and her band, including a tuba, trombone, and a snare drum.

Now this group no longer performs, also rumored to be for budget reasons. Frontierland is a bit of a mess right now, with the ongoing construction of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Piston Peak construction. It is sad to see this fun, lively band now missing.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!
