EPCOT Looks Much Different Today
We weren't expecting to see these changes today at EPCOT. Do you think this takes away from the overall atmosphere of the park?
Festival of the Holidays

There are so many ways to experience the beauty of the holidays, from visiting the parks, meeting Santa Claus at Disney Springs, and, of course, the International Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT.
This is one of the shortest festivals at EPCOT and one of my (Donna) favorites. Disney even surprised us with a few new additions to the festival this year.
With Festival of the Holidays ending on December 30, 2025, EPCOT is busy with Guests trying to enjoy this festival for the last few remaining days
New Year's Eve Countdown

We understand that this is a busy time at Walt Disney World, but it seems a little early for the huge New Year's Eve Stage setup.
Erected in the Italy pavilion, this lighting surrounds where the La Befana storyteller shares the Epiphany tradition.
On New Year's Eve, December 31st, at EPCOT, Guests can enjoy "Luminous: The Symphony of Us" at 6:30 pm and "Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration" at 11:54 pm.
Festival of the Arts

If this was not enough, we also spotted tents popping up for the Festival of the Arts. It does seem a bit strange to see tents for the next festival while one is still underway.
EPCOT is already preparing for the Festival of the Arts and New Year's Eve.
Festival of the Arts runs from January 16th through February 23, 2026.
What do you think of these additions at EPCOT? Share your thoughts with us and share this news with your Disney pals.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family at the Disney Parks.

My wife and I were at Epcot for the Festival of the Holidays and to see Candlelight Processional. Candlelight remains an excellent program, and gets my family ready for Christmas. (Its authentic!). We did notice the empty kiosks and thought they were last minute budget cuts from Festival of the Holidays by CEO Bob Iger. Being placed in Epcot when they were, and covered, created "bad show, especially with no explanation until you provided background.
I agree completely, Randy. I think this would be the kind of thing that Walt Disney would prevent.
