Big Changes Hit EPCOT For the Holidays

Disney just released DEEP discounts for the holiday season, and people are making travel plans. Find out the big changes hitting EPCOT for the holidays.

There is nothing quite like Christmas at Walt Dinsey World. The best part is that the Christmas season begins a bit earlier in Orlando, Florida than in the rest of the country.

With the very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party set for November 7, 2025 and November 8, 2025 for Jollywood Nights, Walt Disney World will make the change from Halloween to Christmas fairly quickly.

Right now Disney has some amazing rates running on both coasts. Select guests can receive discounted Park Hopper tickets at Disneyland. Walt Disney World now offers great Walt Disney World ticket rates for Florida Residents along with a speical room-only offer for Florida residents.

New Holiday Change at EPCOT

When CommuniCore Hall first opened, we were disappointed but Disney reassured us that this space would be transformed for EPCOT's many festivals. The first festival, the International Food and Wine Festival, only offered a shopping location.

Last year, CommuniCore Hall received an awesome holiday overlay with the beauty of Spaceship Earth made completely out of gingerbread. This beautiful work of art offered a light show to holiday tunes as the centerpiece for CommuniCore Hall.

While Disney has not confirmed if the gingerbread Spaceship Earth will return, there is a new change coming to CommuniCore Hall. Santa Claus will now greet Guests at CommuniCore Hall starting November 28 through December 24, 2025.

This is a change as Santa formerly greeting Guests at the Odyssey Pavilion. The current greeting times are set for 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5:00pm (times are subject to change).

Candlelight Processional 2025 Changes

Disney announced details for the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT for Festival of the Holidays. The first change affects showtimes. The new showtimes are 5:00 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8:15 pm at the America Gardens Theater.

Santa Claus will now greet Guests at CommuniCore Hall starting November 28 through December 24, 2025.
