New Permit Just Filed for Disney's Skyliner
Disney transportation is a big perk for Walt Disney World Resort guests. See what we know so far about this new permit filed.

There are many differing opinions on transportation options, largely depending upon which Disney Resort you are staying at and also which Park you will be visiting.
The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE, and many questions revolve around what is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive at each Park.
Some guests choose their Disney resort based on transportation options, particularly with resorts along the monorail loop and the Disney Skyliner.
Skyliner Permit

Disney just filed a new permit for the Disney Skyliner Station located at Disney's Hollywood Studios (785 Studio Drive).
This permit lists Buena Vista Construction Company as the contractor to "provide labor, material, and/or electrical for construction".
As with most permits, this permit lasts for a year expiring on August 28, 2027. It is unclear if this is in preparation for the already announced closure, or if this will be for a new project.
Disney Skyliner Closure

Walt Disney World warns Resort Guests that the Disney Skyliner will close for a brief refurbishment from January 24-30, 2027.
The Disney Skyliner will close January 24-30, 2027.
During this time, the Disney Skyliner remains fully closed. Additional buses will be available at the Skyliner Resorts to allow Guests transportation to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
